Apple's latest announcement around Apple Intelligence finally gives macOS users something to get curious about. Beyond the buzz, I wanted to see what these new AI-powered tools actually feel like in real workflows—so I tested them.
In the video below, I break down three features that caught my attention: smart photo search and editing, one-click writing tools, and Siri's new brain courtesy of ChatGPT integration.
Searching for photos on your Mac used to be a pain—especially if you didn’t remember the exact file name. With Apple Intelligence, you can now describe what you're looking for (like "dog wearing clothes") and get spot-on results. The new Clean Up tool also lets you remove unwanted text or objects from images directly inside the Photos app.
Right-click on any block of text and you'll see new AI options: rewrite, summarize, adjust tone. It works in Notes, Mail, and other apps. I demo how I turned a clunky email into something more polished, and how Apple Intelligence summarizes long messages in seconds.
Siri finally got interesting. With ChatGPT integration, you can ask it to plan a scenic road trip, generate a persona, or help with idea generation. In the demo, I gave it a real request and let it run—the results were better than expected.
I recorded a full walkthrough of each feature in action. Watch the video to see:
